Candid, expressive, unconventional photography
(On a carousel taking wedding pics)
Hi! Thanks for checking out my website.
The most important thing I can tell you is that I'm a photographer. I don't call myself a "wedding photographer" because I shoot so much more. I shoot what's around me, what interests me. And mainly what interests me is people.
That's why I love shooting weddings. The people, the emotions, the once in a life moments. It's my passion. Since 2014 I've shot 50 weddings, and here's my promise to you:
I will try my best to capture all the magic and chaos and beauty of your day. I'll be on the look out for real human emotion and surprises. All the joy, the humor and the bittersweet. I'll do my best to catch the candid moments with grace and humor. To create images that mean everything to you now and in years to come.
I'll also stop and get you coffee on my way. I'll bring duct tape and candy (for emergencies). I'll help the groomsmen with their ties and keep everyone's nerves calm with laughter.

How did I become a wedding photographer?
By accident! I've loved photography since I was a kid, but didn't shoot my first wedding until 2013. It was a friend's backyard wedding and I did it was a favor, but was shocked at how much fun it was. So I kept doing it. As a 2nd shooter (to learn more) and then on my own.
I'm married with 2 rescue dogs. If you follow me online you will see a ton of pics of my dogs.
I got married in Vegas in 2008. Actually, we eloped. I never wanted a wedding. So it's funny that weddings have become such a huge part of my life.
We met on match.com. My husband looked for girls who like Tom Waits. We love horror movies and dogs (duh!) We live on property that has been in my husband's family for over 100 years and we have a barn.
